On the other hand, Trevor contrasts to Paul’s traits because he takes advantage of Mr. Thomas absence so that he could vandalize his home and take his possession. In their selfish nature, they burn up the money that they would have used instead of using it to their own benefit. This demonstrates the theme of the of the story.
