SOPHIA PATHWAYS™ FOR CORPORATE LEARNING

Online UNM courses follow the same semester-based schedule as traditional, on-campus classes. Students access lessons, receive instruction and submit work through the Blackboard learning management platform. While instruction is delivered primarily through digital means, courses may have scheduled activities or in-person requirements such as proctored exams.

Valley City State University offers both a B.A. and a B.S. in Professional Communication-Corporate entirely online. The curriculum focuses on marketing training and development, and is designed to serve as a platform to further education in theology, law, counseling, and college administration.

Institutions have accepted or given pre-approval for credit transfer

The University of New Mexico offers an online bachelor's degree in communication through the Department of Communication and Journalism. This degree completion program focuses on organizational communication. For a major in communication, students complete 36 hours of departmental courses, consisting of 15 core courses, 12 electives and nine hours in the concentration, in addition to other university requirements for graduation.

Colleges and universities accept our courses for transfer

Given that communication was one of the first majors to be offered as an online degree, it’s no surprise that countless institutions include this area of study among their distance learning options. Online students will have no trouble finding a program matched to their aspirations, as there are so many options available. Many of these schools also provide the additional resources an online student needs, such as concentrated areas of study, flexibility, student support resources, and technical assistance. Whether seeking a degree at the associate or doctoral level, there is an online degree in communications for every student and the search tool below can held identify the right one.

In their junior year, students will participate in an internship. The goal is to provide students with real world, hands on education and experience that makes their degree more marketable. Potential internships include: training, major event planning, technical writing, communication audits, marketing, crisis communication, and human resources.
