To Dec 21 Reflection: Australian Quilts in Public Places – a spectacular display of original textile artworks has been created on the theme of ‘reflection’. Wide-ranging interpretations have been produced using textiles in a great diversity of styles using multiple materials and techniques. This show is a testimony to the imagination, creativity and talents of art quilters across the continent. A selection of artists will demonstrate different techniques from 1.30-2pm each Sat during the exhibition. Bookings advised by phone or email.

Dec 15 to March 25, 2018 Unfinished Business: Perspectives on art and feminism – a major Australian exhibition exploring feminist concerns in recent contemporary art practice, Unfinished Business asks why the movement might be of ongoing relevance and necessity. The second in ACCA’s Big Picture Summer exhibition series, the exhibition will explore trans-generational legacies, inheritances and shifts alongside contemporary conditions. Developed by ACCA Artistic Director Max Delany and ACCA Senior Curator Annika Kristensen in collaboration with a curatorium of leading Australian artists and curators including Paola Balla, Julie Ewington, Vikki McInnes and Elvis Richardson, the exhibition features works by over 40 artists, and has been conceived to animate critical, albeit underrepresented practices and debates within contemporary Australian art and society.
